If you don't leave all, you will stay in the hustle.

I'm seeing you in the end of the Earth, in a wild spot where you have just arrived, because you decided to go further than the famous and popular paradises of the travel agencies that sold you the trip. But I realize you wear your shimmering shorts in red and blue, clean and ironed; and the Ray-Ban glasses, and your face and attitude a little bit hidebound, tense... It looks as if you didn't want to mess with the sand.

In fact, you are still in the civilization, in the frenzy of owning and feigning.

If you don't leave all (all you have, all you believe, all you fear, all you want to look like...), you will stay in the hustle, far away from this freedom.

If you don't blend yourself into this landscape, you will keep in you mind the invisible chains of repression.

If you don't get naked, you will be just a visitor, and you will not be part of the landscape.

Staring

On the pleasant shore of the universe, there’s a strange being who thinks that he is the center of the existence. He has a treasure, but he doesn’t realize. Around him, beauty and mistery.
In fact, this strange being called human being is deeply atracted by the mistery. As a curious mind, he loves searching and seeking answers. But many times his pulsions compels him to rush, fight, hate, fear... This poor devil has not chosen to live like this. Something, or someone, has put him in front of the cruel laws of the biology. He has to eat living beings to survive. He has to kill either vegetables or animals. Williy-nilly, he has to destroy other lives to keep himself alive. And, as I have already written, he has not chosen this situation.
Sometimes, this strange being sits down and think; and he feels he loves, he feels every human being is infinitely worth. And this awareness just happens sometimes, when the power of the pulsions stops and the mind of this being is clear and clean.
Inside every human being there is an actual heart; and when this heart is sane, every human being understans that somewhere about there is more than fight, more than fear, more than hate, more than destruction, more that violence, more than money, more than utilitarianism, more than brutality, more than domination. This strange being watches himself and realize he is more than he looks, and much more than society thinks.
Many times, on this pleasant shore, strange and powerful buildings stands as if they were the answer everybody looks for. Churches, mosques, several temples arise towards sky with the verse of the fear to convince people to obey; with the grey poem of the interest to compel everybody to believe. Unknowledge is too unbearable for too many people and they rather accept inventions than search answers or hope through logical and honest thoughts. People usually live quavering as the image of a great mountain is quavering in the clear shallows of a lake that works as a mirror. People should be the mountain more than the quavering mirror. People should remember that they have been settled in this strange existence without having chosen it, that they did not decide the rules, the scenario, the fight, the death, the weakness, the blindness...

By staring at nature, this strange being can figure out little but strong evidences. By having confidence on sunshine, this strange being can feel answers. May be he can not hear or understand these answers, but he can feel them and hopefully live.

Fumbling along a bit...

Ets tu! from Jere Soler on Vimeo.

Sometimes, I fumble along a bit the hidden beauty of existence. In that moments I hear sounds and I feel melodies like birds flying, or waves pumping into the beach.
I made this song during the last summer, and It is a message that wind talks to human beings. It is a poem about the sea and the freedom too.
I hope you like it.

Words for those who have a strong pain.

Keep calm and carry on. We are a strong institution, we are a heart, we are a team of souls. We believe in kindness, in love, in happiness, in freedom, in nature, in beauty, in future. Our faith doesn't come from any religion, it is a faith in the goodness of existence. We're stronger than our enemies because the pain will not defeat us, because the pain is not defeating us. We have the power to find beauty, love and hope in any instant of our lives, because these gifts exist, these are hidden in every instant; and when the enemies try to get dark our days, we drink the blessings of these gifts and win.
Nothing frightens us, because we have confidence on freedom. Death is better than slavery, so we are going to be always free. Myths, fictions, dogmas, doctrines, theologies, any sort of chains... are not being able to dominate us, because we belong to the humility of nature and to the confidence on existence. No human monkey will frighten us. Death is not frightening us because we are fallen in love with life. Those who have been deeply alived don't fear death. Perhaps, some day, the diseases or the physical power will destroy our body, but they are not going to destroy our mind, our wishes, our faith or our freedom's love. And our words, the written words, will always stay. The seed of freedom is going to grow ever and ever, and nothing will avoid its victory. The dreams we have dreamt fly towards all the directions of the Earth, and the future of human kind will be a future full of freedom and love. The generations that are being born have the freedom's seed on their soul, because they are human beings, and our words, our message, our life, will be blessed water for their growing and their victories. Their victory will be for ever our victory and the victory of the human species.

We can't change the world, but if we change our mind, the world changes

If only changing the mind was so easy like swapping a hat for a bonnet! And the mind is all. We know the world through our mind. We live in the world our mind choose. We can't change the world, but if we change our mind, the world changes. I like chuckling at any funny anecdote my son or my daughter explains me. Laughing is a healthy activity that compels our mind to change. Truth hides inside the gladness, and also hides in the braveness of those who fight to be happy and to give happiness to somebody. We should merrily be aware of the privilege that existing means. Our life is the slice of love that the misterious power of the nature gives us. Some times I stop and, to my amazement, I realize I exist, and I realize things exist. I realize that there are existing things. Perhaps, you will think this assertions are platitudes, but I think that most people are not aware of the unusual fact of existing.
Nowadays, people suffer from a stack of worries out of the physical values that guide human life. Society compels us to chase empty goals, to esteem richness and power as if these were the reason of our existence. This wrong race is the main cause of such a lot of dissatisfaction. If our mind was a body, nowadays it would be gasping for breath, because the society's press is so strong that we usually act like puppets in a punch's theater.

Too many people live with fears nagging at the back of their mind all day: mortgages, debts, frustrated expectations, anxiety... Life should be easier than all these concerns. We can choose our life but we have to be brave. The strongest bravenes is the capacity of travelling against the society's wind, but all the great conquests come from a brave soul.

If the wind doesn't push me, if it doesn't try to make me fall down, I will not know how to walk in the windstorm

If all was easy, wine wouldn't be worth, and human life would be like the life of a stone that is dragged by water. There wouldn't be either impressionist pictures or lives that would be exhausted because of having fought for freedom, or poems that would denounce the destroyers of the life. If there were not tyrants, it would be more complicated loving the deep value of the freedom. If there had never been squalid inquisitors, it would be more arduous that science was deemed a great treasure, and so do the logical methodology, and the prudence, and the intellectual humility, and the mental objectivity. If there had never been squalid inquisitors, we would hardly have taken out of our heart poems that would be bloody because of our love for the freedom of thinking, the life and the happiness. If pain didn't exist, or sadness, or suffering, personal happiness wouldn't be a conquest, we wouldn't become skilled in the art of being happy; happiness would be gifted as the color of a flower, or as the flavor of the spices.

And if you weren't crying, I wouldn't be able to comfort you. If you didn't feel lonely, I hardly could keep you company. And if you didn't cry, you would find more complicated to be aware of the times when you are glad, and you would likely find harder to sympathize with those who are crying.

And if we never saw our existence at stage, it would be unlikely to grasp and help those who see their existence and their future at stage, and who see the existence and the future of their loved ones at stage.

I appreciate all the pain I sufffer, because this pain makes me stronger, and because it compels me to become the builder of my own fate, to decide who I am, what is worth for me, and what my life will be like. The darkness compels me to settle down beside the light. The hate that rips up my meat helps me to settle beside the unconditional love. And I decide to stay beside the light and the love as the identity signal of my existence, as waybill, as a source of happiness.

And I don't need to believe in any religion to proclaim all theses ideas or follow any messiah, or being more than an imperfect human being. From everything around me, I intuit and love a misterious spirit; a soul that embraces me. This misterious being doesn't come up from any doctrine or spiritual arrogance, or mithology, The roots of this being are deeply buried in the existence and nobody can describe or explain this being.

If the wind doesn't push me, if it doesn't try to make me fall down, I will not know how to walk in the windstorm. If my heart has never a breaking pain, I'll never learn to walk and to love with a breaking pain in my heart. If all was easier and I didn't need to strive to pave the way to a bright future, this bright future wouldn't be so mine, and I wouldn't be so me, and all would be worse.

Drops

Three drops are falling from a cloud. They are rushing towards land. They are having a row while they are going down. Therefore, they rank their own importance, the importance of each one, to decide who rules, who obeys, who owns more grams of surrounding air while they are falling, who has the right of being the first one in turning into ice's stone when environment causes hailing. They have a hard time because their discussions. They usually feel bereaved, humiliated... and they eventually say that the life is a shit.
All this happens few instants before their dissapearance, before their fusion with the earth. They are bound to seep into the earth, and to travel towards the currents who are going to push them towards the sea. Not even they know that the sea exists. Not even they have looked at the clouds. When they think about the landscape below them, they tremble and change the subject.

We don't need none to clap us, none to pay us, none to enrich us, our richness is that we like doing.

Many people do the things they like rather well (painting, singing, writting...), but many of these people usually think that they don't do well enough. It happens because they compare themselves with the stars, with the artists that people admire. There always will be someone who will do the things better than everyone of us, and many people will not be able to enjoy their practises by comparisons. Perhaps they'll do in a hidden place, probably they will not show what they do, they will act as if they were making a mistake, a crime, a sin... This is a wrong attitude because happiness doesn't born from the aim of doing things in a way as perfect as the stars or professionals... Happiness flows simply when we do the things we like, just because we do these things, because we like doing these things, because when we do these things, we feel as if we put in touch with a high reality beyond the material world, a reality that takes us to the imagination's world, that takes up our brain, our soul, our mood.
We don't need none to clap us, none to pay us, none to enrich us, our richness is that we like doing. We don't need to do anything as perfect as the masters. We don't need to hide us or to hide our work  when we do what we like. We only need to do freely the things we like, because we enjoy doing and showing those things.
Everybody have strong creative capacity; it's worth develop it. Society often (probably unconsciously) tries to drown this trend to convert individuals into useful elements of the production's chain. But we are all creators.
Don't obey those who say you can't. You can. If you feel, you can. Don't listen those who will put their fingers in your eyes to discourage you. They feel bad because they know that you are the proof of their failure, because they could and they didn't want. The society's pace convinced them to forget their soul.

Sing, swim, have a sunbath, dance, cover your skin with mud, be happy!

Thank you sky. Thank you sea. Thank you stones. Thank you mud. Thank you wind. Thank you time. Thank you life. Thank you meat. Thank you smile. Thank You freedom. Thank you nakedness. Thank you soul. Thank you nature. Thank you diversity. Thank you all.

Thank you for coming to my existence, to my conscience. I hope you have a good time and I hope that you love me, that you love us. Here we go, full of power, full of deep awareness, full with the Earth.

However you feel, hope! Hope! Always hope! Something or someone has put us on this reality... Something or someone has made us as we are... We haven't chosen what each one of us is! What we are determines what we do... But you must realise that you can more than you think.  You can reach nearby all the things you want if you work. When you are in your fourties, you discover all the things one day you thought you can't reach... and you realise that that thought was false. You could have reached those dreams if you had fought. And you can still reached those dreams, or perhaps another dreams. The future is in your hands, in your hard-working hands. But chase your future, the future that is yours.

I feel I've reached the most of my dreams. Perhaps because my dreams are free. My dreams only depens on my mind: to be free, to have a nice family, to try to be a kind man, to join to nature in a way as wild and naked as I can, to learn new knowledges everyday till my death, to teach to the people I love that being alive is a privilege and that every instant is a gift, to write what I believe, to write and create stories that I imagine, to feel and to write a little drop of poetry that excites me, to avoid the money and its trap, not to fear the death but to love the time of life, to sing without fame's yearns nor a consumistic soul.

Probably I forget some dreams in this list, all of them are free dreams, and I've reached all of them.
Are you afraid to die? Don't be afraid? You must be afraid for not being awake, for not creating, for not being happy, for not discovering the strong beauty of all the things.

What's wrong? The only wrong is not being alive. Step forward. There is a bright planet full of life and light.

The day I took these photos, we covered the whole skin with mud. It was funny. We were beside the Atlantic Ocean, in Tarifa, in a free beach where everybody could be naked. With the mud on the skin and the sun and the waves, we were we, we were alive, we were deeply happy. Thousands of persons emerging from the night of centuries have been covering their skins with mud. They lived subjects to blind traditions that tied the soul of their poor freedom. The  ignorance is the hardest  chain. In the middle age these chains were specially strong. We live a time that allows us to reach the highest levels of wisdom. The true wisdom is that wisdom that proclames its own ignorance. In fact, there's no ignorance when we know that we are ignorant, the true ignorances are those ignorances that proclaims that they are wise. Every human being is the main aim of the whole universe. Every human being deserves to be free, to be happy, to enjoy nature, to play with the waves, to be naked under the sun, to sing, to be alive, and to learn and develop.

I invite you to this pretty place in Bolonia (Tarifa) Spain, to be naked, to cover your skin with mud, to sing, to love human kind and Earth.

The happiness is in the wide and red expanses where the wind sings and the sun reddens the landscape in the sunset

You may want the flashes and the fame, but the life is in the meadows, the happiness is in the wide and red expanses where the wind sings and the sun reddens the landscape in the sunset. The life is settled in the crepitation of the campfire when stars shine on sky. Life hides on the mountains, between the scarlet big rocks, in the middle of the mixture of scents of rosemary, thyle, pines, and holm oak trees...

I don't yearn the distressing race to reach the possession of all the things; the new things, the expensive things, the funny things, signs of class... I want only a song sung by people that don't sing very well but sing with passion. I want to the people I love... people that love woods, and hills, and streams, and the dark paths in the forest, and the warbling of unknown birds, and long rambles towards the wild nature.

Once upon a time a lonely boy, a sad and lonely boy, that was exiled from his homeland. He lived in a world of concrete and bricks. He was dominated by handlers consciences that wanted to lead him towards the golden jail of myths of conveniences and eternal fears. One day, this boy heard the "Waltzing Mathilda". The "Waltzing Mathilda" was sung by two lovely girls of thirteen in the middle on the wild Australia, beside a campfire. The lonely boy was fourteen, and he had never known any girl because handlers consciences had forbidden any meeting. They said that girls were dangerous because they could put the lonely boy out of the holy way. That day, when the boy heard the girls singing "Waltzing Mathilda", he understood that the life was a magical gift, and that the Earth and the existence were the materialization of a misterious love that rules the universe. With the “Waltzing Mathilda” the boy regained freedom, and this is the reason why this boy has this song as a personal hymn of independance and freedom.

Nowadays, this boy is forty five, and in spite he is a Catalan man, he sings the Waltzing Mathilda (an Australian folk song) beside his son and his daughter, as a song of freedom, love and nature... as a song of love to the life's diversity, and as a song of love to the mountains, the woods and the meadows of the Earth.

The fullness is sat beside us.

When you start off your path towards Ithaka
you must hope that the voyage be a long one,
full of adventures, full of discoveries

You must hope that the voyage be a long one.
May there be many a summer morning when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you come into harbors never seen before (...)

(...) Ithaka has given you the marvelous travel.
Without her you would not have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you find that she is poor, Ithaka hasn't fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you will have understood what Ithaka means.

We have more beauty in the leaves of the olive-trees than in the screen of a TV or a computer, but sometimes we put all our energies to reach a life full of artifacts that are considered as symbols of material prosperity or social power. Perhaps, people is not happy, and search obsessively some machines, or pills, or objects... that gives them the fullness of peace. But sadly many people don't realise that the fullnes of life is hidden in the olive-tree's leaves, in the wide sea, in the flashes of the waves, in the light of a sunray passing through the water of a glass, in the smile of the people around us, in the shady of a street in the hot summer, in a sunset, in the song chanted by a girl while she is playing in a park... The fullness is sat on the simple realities that we can find every day easily. But people often don't watch simple realities and they loose the idea of privilege. Being alive is a privilege, and the fullness flows from this idea. The beauty is already beside us, inside us... we don't need be chained to any necessity to be happy, because happines is beside us. We only need to watch it, and to enjoy it.

When childhood is the search of the creativity.

The naturist beach of El Torn, in Hospitalet de l'Infant.
.
.
In the darkest instants of my life, when the whole day was sunk in a strange night, I tried to get what I could get while there was something to enjoy. The wings of  Earth were cut by a black wind of fear and punishment. All around was the door of the hell and those who were dressed in black and red used to smoke and to repeat boring psalms that had been written by men many centuries before.

The world is full of bad shepherds that don't live and don't let live. They kill the movement to survive, thinking about the worst possibilities of the risk. Their speech explains that the inmobility doesn't die. But It is true because the inmobility is already dead.

I wish a better world for those to come, without any sword hanging over the heads of my sons and my daughters. I want them to be free. I want them to be full of serenity. I want them to absorbe all the deep beauty of the life without fears or threatens. I wish a yellow beach with emerald water, and a sun burning over the clean and deep blue, and the breeze kissing the skin of the people I love. I wish the dream of love comes true.

I'm sad for so many people that remain encaged into narrow minds. Knowledge makes people free. Nature hides a book inside, and this book reveals the secret of the hapiness to us.

I've been forty five years in this planet. The first ten years were a perfect mixture of hapiness and sadness, of nature and frustration, of wisdom and bad education. I had inside me an enormous yearn of creativity. I needed to create. The school foiled my creative necessities, because teachers worked with the pace of the slowest boys. It was a time of darkness. Books were expensive and bad. Internet didn't exist. I wanted to know the answer of a lot of questions that burned into my heart. The adults thought I was a mad, an strange child, too serious, too sensible, too shy.

Another day, this story will go on.

The orchesta sounds (II)

The orchestra sounds,
the orchesta that celebrates the privilege.
A man laughs and has a clown's nose,
and children jump on sand dunes.
The waves come and go
while the sun is going down
and dyes landscape in red.
Someone is dying,
but before leaving life,
he dances with the person he love most.
They follow the melody
of a young man with dreadlocks
that plays a guitar and sings
an old John Sebastian's song:
"And then all that I know
I've learned, assuming my kid.
And all my deepest worries
must be true historical cartoons..."
And really they dance badly,
but they know that the sweetest experiences in life
are those we have not learned.
Wherever someone walks,
between the forest and the beach,
he, or she, feels a mixture of scents,
salt, pine, grass, algae ...
And when you want, you can sit or walk.
And you think that the fact that you exist
is a good experience,
in spite that tomorrow
you will have gone away.

The orchesta sounds (I)

The orchestra sounds in these brief moments of joy that someone gives us. Few moments that stretch over the years and that get the nuances of the seasons, rain, sun, winds, heavy snow of beautiful winters. The orchestra sounds inside us, everytime stronger. Sometimes it is soft like a distant background. It is the soundtrack of a privilege. The privilege of existing beside the thorns that scratch our skin and the breeze that kisses this skin. This privilege is based on the fact of being, of feeling, of being alive,  of loving, of longing, of reasoning, of creating, of building, of producing happiness every day, in every bouquet of moments that existence gives us.

The perception of privilege melts down the most powerfull chains. The most powerfull chains are the most easily fusible, and the most easily destroyable. We only need the awareness of being privileged ones. And we are privileged beings whatever happens. We are privileged because we have lived beside those who have sadly gone away. We are privileged because we have understood the meaning of having been loved and the meaning of loving. We are privileged because we have created and built. We are privileged because we have felt, because we feel, because we exist.

Why we are not a dog, or a fish, or a gorilla? Why we are not any other person? The fact of being who is each one of us determinates what we do, what we think, what we feel, what we decide... And we can't choose who is each one of us, in spite that this choice defines us. We can't decide who we are. If we were God, we would be God without our consent.

Then... take a deep breath. Something or Someone has made you. You have been made. Even that part of you that you have made with your efforts have been made by you because you are who you are, and because you have the capacity of deciding to make that. Take a breath! Relax your arms! Nobody can produce Sunrise with his effort.

The causes of unhappiness

-Why don't I see the Happiness? -the unhappy man asks.

-Because happiness is here. And you look there. -the happy man responds.

P.D. Happiness could be to contemplate the show of a piece of Ice floating in an ancient laundry. This is the same than to contemplate the show of an iceberg floating in the Artic Ocean.

Stress Strike

Stress Strike

I warn fellow that I start an indefinite strike of worries and stress .
From now to... probably ever, due to the crisis and other stories, I will forbid myself any worry.
If I don't get what is required... then... I don't get what is required.
And if I have flaws, I have them.
I'll take care of life's issues, but I will not worry because of them. I will consider some of these issues as priorities; and I'll leave less important issues for later. Issues that are not a direct service to people are less important issues. Love is the most important issue. I will work as hard as I can, with effort, but I will not worry. I will priorize real service to people. I will leave bureaucratic tasks for later. If I don't do bureaucratic tasks, This will happen because I can't do them.
My family will be more important than bureaucracy. My life, your life, life of people... is more important than bureaucracy.

This indefinite strike of stress affects all areas of my life , not only professional areas. I forbid anxiety and worries. I proclaim in force tranquility and philosophy of concentrating on present.
If anyone (because of this strike) gets mad at me, he must think that it is a strike , and strikes always produce collateral damages. I promise that this damages will be tiny damages, because I will not abandone people.
If any distress or concern came into my life, I will face distress or concern. But if It happens, It will not happen because of my concerns.

If this policy implies an obstacle to my aspirations of professional success , social... I don't mind. The sun is still shining and It is beautiful , and often, when it rains, rainbow shines. Life is a privilege
